Unfortunately, we have decided that with the current Covid measures the ENC will not take place in March 2022. It is still not possible to organize the ENC in the way we wish to do it.

Dear ENC-friends, Unfortunately, we have decided today that the ENC will not take place in March 2021. Due to the corona measures it will not be possible to organize the ENC in the way you are used to, with lots of people from different countries, eating and drinking together and above all enjoying young dogs on the trial fields together. At the moment it is very uncertain what the future will bring. We are so very sorry for that. But our health care is the most important we have. We have to take our responsibility, especially if we overthink bringing a lot of people together. It is now time to say ‘no’ to the ENC in March but too early to say that there will be no ENC at all in 2021. We can’t and will not make any promises about that. But nobody knows what the near future will bring us. If there is more clarity about the possibilities of organizing the ENC 2021, we will of course inform you as soon as possible. Once again we are so very disappointed that we have to cancel the ENC 2021 next March. We will keep in touch and hope to meet you and your dogs all together again soon in better times. Take care. To prevend spreading the Corona-virus the European Nursery Championship 2020 was CANCELLED.
We will not get a permit from our gouvernment to have the championship in 2020.
We are very sorry for everybody who made all the efforts to make this tournament possible: volunteers, competitors and sponsors.
We were considering to move the tournament to another date, later this year. But, as everything keeps being uncertain in some parts of Europe, we unfortunately can not organize the ENC in 2020 anymore.
As the championship was completely ready to rock and all costs were already made, we are really sorry to inform you that we can not refund your fees.
If, in any case, this decision causes serious financial problems for you, please contact us and we try to find a solution. We guarantee absolute descrition.
We really hope for your understanding and again, we cancelled with pain in our hearts.

We had a lot of rain the last weeks so the trialfields are very wet. The weather forecast during the ENC looks quite all right now with only a bit of rain.

ENC 2020 will be held on March 13-14-15th

The ENC is a sheep herding championship for young Border Collies at an age of maximum three years on 01-01-2020.
Please note that the level of this trial is Open Class. The ENC is a real European Championship and handlers and their dogs travel from every corner of Europe to the Netherlands to compete. The ENC is not only a challenging young dog's championship, but also a place where many European handlers (competitors as well as spectators) meet and exchange knowledge about our shared passion. The championship will be held on two different fields with different kind of sheep. The championship covers three days. There will be two trials in two and a half days and a Final on the last day. In the qualification your best result counts 3 times and your other run 1 time. On Sunday we run the Final between the best 15 handlers of the two trials. The judges will be Eliane Verboven from Belgium (upper photo) and Hans van Leur from the Netherlands (lower photo). |
